UFC’s Anderson Silva Suffers Broken Leg Live On Pay-Per-View

Dec. 28 was a huge night for mixed martial arts fans as one of the greatest fighters of all-time, Anderson Silva, attempted to regain his title from Chris Weidman at UFC 168.

The fight didn’t exactly end in Silva’s favor as he went for an inside leg kick and broke his own leg. It happened around the 1:16 mark of the second round. Below is the recap video done on the PPV of the injury.

This is the type of injury that can end a career.

No word on what is next for Silva but it looks like Weidman will be defending his title against Vitor Belfort next.
