We were supposed to have new material from U2 by May, but now it looks like it won’t be around until 2012. The guys must not have been that impressed with the ‘Lady Gaga’ sound. U2 had been working with Danger Mouse and RedOne (producer for Lady Gaga) and here’s what Adam Clayton told Rolling Stone. "We have to focus on what we do best, and the work we did with Danger Mouse came closest to that. In the end, the thing we did with RedOne doesn't feel like the right fit," This means that everything they recorded with RedOne will have to be re-recorded. And with them being on the road continuing their 360 Tour, we’ll have to wait for next year.
