Over the weekend the Pittsburgh Penguins traveled to our great neighbor to the North, Canada, to face the Ottawa Senators. That meant that we would get to hear both national anthems before the game, and the versions we got were very unique.

This is Measha Brueggergosman, a Canadian opera singer who had the pleasure of performing the national anthem for both Canada and the United States over the weekend. What she didn't realize is that we are all apparently 10 year old boys, because we found her voice hilarious.

Now in some places her operatic singing voice is probably greatly appreciated, but not in a hockey arena. She belted out the lyrics and people in the crowd (and even the players) began to giggle thanks to her over the top performance. At the very least, we can thank Measha for giving us a laugh.
