Happy Birthday today (April 26) to drummer Jose Pasillas of Incubus. He's 40. Also celebrating is former Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison (41).

Incubus was formed by Jose Pasillas, along with vocalist Brandon Boyd, and guitarist Mike Einziger in 1991 out of Calabasas High School in Calabasas, California. The band achieved initial success with the 1999 album Make Yourself and the singles "Pardon Me, "Stellar", and "Drive". Morning View followed in 2001 with the singles "Wish You Were Here" and "Nice to Know You". 2004's A Crow Left for the Murder... featured the single Megalomanic and  2006's Light Grenades debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with the single  "Dig".

Slipknot was formed out of Des Moines, Iowa in 1995 by Shawn Crahan and Paul Gray. the band went through several lineup changes and eventually settled with nine members that performed together for over a decade. Members included Corey Taylor, Shawn Crahan, Paul Gray, Mick Thomson, Jim Root, Craig Jones, Sid Wilson, Chris Fehn, and Joey Jordison. Paul Gray died in 2010 and Joey Jordison was fired from the band in Dec. 2015. Percussionist Shawn Crahan remains the only founding member in the current lineup. Slipknot will headline Q103's Q-Ruption 2016 at SPAC on July 24.
