Troy Man Gives Away $50,000 to Strangers to ‘Do Good’

Talk about doing good!  A Capital Region man has given away $50,000 over the course of a year to strangers for the sake of doing good.

According to newyorkupstate.com, a Troy real estate developer spent a year giving away $100 a day to random people just to do some good.  He launched a memorial campaign called “Do The Next Good Thing”, and not only gave away $100 per day but also $1000 on the 30th of each month according to newyorkupstate.com.  On top of that, the Troy man also encouraged support of other community organizations and helped them fundraiser.  This is one of the coolest stories to me.  I love to see people helping out the community, and as someone who also works in a public service job, I find it so important.  You can head to newyorkupstate.com to check out some of the people who got money and their stories.  Here’s to doing good!!!
