Colin Farrell Steps Into Arnold’s Shoes In ‘Total Recall’ Reboot

For a few years ideas had been tossed around about a remake for 1990's 'Total Recall', and this summer we will finally get that remake.  The film stars Colin Farrell as Douglas Quaid, the role Arnold Schwarzenegger made famous.

The original 'Total Recall' was one of the best movies that Arnold Schwarzenegger ever made.  it got rave reviews, awesome critical reception and made a boat load of cash.  Sure, the visual effects don't compare to what we can do now, but 22 years ago it was fantastic.  Now, we have another Hollywood reboot on our hands, can it stand up to the original?

In 2012, Douglas Quaid is played by Colin Farrell and he is surrounded by a pretty stellar cast.  Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel and Bryan Cranston will be joining Farrell in the remake.  Obviously the story can't change much, but you never know.  The new 'Total Recall' hits theaters this summer, August 3, so get ready.
