Billboard released their annual list of the top 200 most sold albums of the year and AC/DC, Disturbed, Godsmack and Avenged Sevenfold were just a couple artists who made it on.

It was a good year for rock when it came to album sales.  Several of our favorite Q103 artists made the list. Nickelback's "Dark Horse" continued to sell big in 2010 as they took the #42 spot on the Billboard list.  Linkin Parks new album also made a splash at #53.

Disturbed is coming to town with the Music as a Weapon Tour and you can bet that you'll hear stuff off their new album "Asylum" which was at #81.  AC/DC was a big part of the Iron Man 2 soundtrack, in fact they were the Iron Man 2 soundtrack.  They basically put out a greatest hits and it sold.  They were #65. Godsmacks "The Oracle" hit the #71 spot overall.  Also making the list this year was Carlos Santana with his "Guitar Heaven" album. Bullet for my Valentine, Alice in Chains and Five Finger Death Punch also made appearances on the list.  So what was the #1 most selling album of 2010?  Susan Boyle, "I Dreamed a Dream".  At least it wasn't Justin Bieber.  For a complete look at the Billboard list click here.
