Tony Hawk Reveals His Next Game Will Be Mobile

The Birdman himself has revealed that the next Tony Hawk game will appear on mobile devices.

Legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk appeared on Bloomberg Television's 'Taking Stock' and spoke to Pimm Fox about his skateboarding empire and where it's headed. He talked a great deal about his clothing line, his YouTube channel and even about some up-and-coming skaters that he thinks are the ones to watch in the future.

Then Fox turned the topic onto video games and asked what Hawk had coming down the chute (or the half-pipe?). "We are working on a mobile game now," Hawk said. "So we're working on a game for mobile devices this year. And we've never gone exclusively in that direction yet, so I'm excited. Because with the amount of time people are spending on their phones and their tablets, playing games, we've never had our own game in that space, so I'm excited to provide one, finally."

Hawk didn't give a name for the game or a tentative release window, but at least we know it'll be worked on this year and might even be released in 2014. We'll keep you updated as more news of this Tony Hawk game is made available.
