Happy Birthday today (March 1) to Roger Daltrey. The frontman for The Who is 74. Also celebrating is former Skid Row/current Four By Fate drummer Rob Affuso (55).

Roger Daltrey is the founder and singer of The Who and has had a career that has spanned over 50 years. Hit singles with The Who include “I Can’t Explain”, “My Generation”, “Substitute”, “Pinball Wizard”, “Baba O’Riley” and “Won’t Get Fooled Again”. The Who are one of the most influential rock bands of all time, with sales of over 100 million albums worldwide. The classic lineup featured Roger Daltrey along with Pete Townsend on guitar, John Entwistle on bass, and Keith Moon on drums. The Who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. Roger Daltrey is touring this summer performing the Who's Tommy with an orchestra. More info and dates here courtesy of Ultimate Classic Rock.

Former Skid Row drummer Rob Affuso now performs with the band Four By Fate which features Rob on drums along with Tod Howarth (Frehley’s Comet) vocals and keyboards, John Regan ( Frehley’s Comet, ex Peter Frampton) on bass and Pat Gasparini “Patrick James” (Pound, Flywheel) on guitar. The band released their debut album Relentless last year. Check out Four By Fate’s official facebook page here. I’m still hoping for that original lineup Skid Row reunion one day with Sebastian Bach on vocals and Rob Affuso behind the drum kit but I guess that ain’t looking too good at the moment. One can dream can’t we? Check out photo below of me hangin with Rob Affuso after a gig with is band Four By Fate.
