There is A Boil Water Advisory In Rensselaer County

If you live in this part of Rensselaer County it is worth knowing there is a boil water advisory in effect currently.

The Department of Health in Rensselaer County has reported earlier on this morning at around 8 A.M. a water main break occurred in the City of Troy. The break is affecting the area that is supplied water by the tank on Tibbits Avenue according to WNYT.COM. This is causing a little bit of trouble for more than just Troy but North Greenbush as well.

At the moment some residents may be without water but a crew is working to restore water pressure or water as a whole very quickly. In the meantime, if you are in the general area to that you are under a boil water advisory to all water for both drinking and cooking.
