The Place Beyond the Pines, starting Ryan Gosling and filmed in Schenectady, is set open nationwide on April 12th but locally there will be special screenings of the film.

The film, which shot in Schenectady back in 2011 and features a wide cast of extras that include Schenectady Police and residents, tells the story of stunt motorcyclist (Gosling) and a police officer (Bradley Cooper). The story centers around the drama and corruption in both their lives and the collision course they are about to have.

Check out where you can see the film locally here.
