The New Hooters Of Albany – A Review

After a four year absent, Hooters of Albany opened for business Friday at 11am.  Stop by the new restaurant for ice cold beer, wings and of course to meet Amanda, Ashley, Liz, Brittany, Erica, Rachael, Sarah, Dominque, Victoria and the many other new Hooter Girls.  Q103 broadcasted live for the grand opening and here is a review.

Hooters Of Albany located at 70 Wolf Road in Colonie is quite a bit larger than the Hooters was in Crossgates Mall.  The new restaurant boasts over 2800 square feet of eating space. 31 HDTV’s and over 18 different types of draft beer to select from but you probably really want to know about the kind of talent we have in Albany for Hooter Girls.

That pretty much says it all.  The talent at Hooters of Albany is very very good. – What better way than to get wings and burgers delivered to your table than by a girl with seductive lips!

Hooters famous wings come in 10 piece, 20 piece, and 50 pieces all are available breaded or naked and with 10 different types of sauces from Hot to Spicy Jack to 3 mile island.

They have over 10 different types of appetizers from Training Burgers to Sampler Platters.  A big hit during our broadcast was the fried pickles – I wasn’t sure if I would have liked them, but they were very good and highly recommend.

Of course the burgers are always more than a mouthful! You can build your own, try the mushroom swiss burger, western bbq burger or the bleu cheese burger.

Not everything is fried food, Hooters does offer HUGE salads, like the cobb, and grilled chicken salads.

During the grand opening Hooter was crazy busy every table was being used and a Hooters girl was assigned 1-2 tables so service was offered almost immediately with a smile.  There were even a few of the girls who sat and hung out with the people at her table while they waited for their food to come.  Be aware that as you arrive at Hooters, the waitresses and I mean all the waitresses will welcome you to Hooters in special Hooters fashion.

You can place orders to go by calling 518-438-9300 or faxing 518-438-9303 too.

We’ve waited a long time.. and we’re glad Hooters is back in the Capital Region.  Let’s hope Hooters and Q103 will have a long lasting relationship!
