The Fray Kill The National Anthem At The NCAA Championship Game

Another big sporting event, and yet another failed attempt at the National Anthem by a big-time musical act.  The newest anthem slayer: The Fray.

Time and time again, for some reason artists think that it’s a good idea to create their own rendition of the National Anthem. Why?  What’s wrong with the way that the National Anthem is? The only way that I like my anthem different is if there is no singing, and it’s just a screaming guitar solo.

The Fray decided to try a new attempt at the National Anthem at the NCAA championship game between Kentucky and Kansas on Monday night, and it was, well, a bit different.  Most are saying that it’s the worst rendition of the anthem ever. We don’t know about that, but it is pretty terrible. You would expect a little bit more from a Grammy-nominated group.
