We talked with legendary guitarist Joe Walsh about his new VetsAid foundation and the first annual benefit concert he's putting on this September.

I got the distinct pleasure to speak recently with legendary guitarist, multi Grammy award winner, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee, and all around amazing dude Joe Walsh!

As I'm sure you are well aware, Joe Walsh is probably most well known for playing guitar for the Eagles. However, Joe has put out over a dozen solo albums and been a part of quite a few other notable bands and collaborations. More recently though Joe has announced that he is launching a new foundation called VetsAid in an effort to raise awareness and funds for Veterans and Vet organizations throughout the country.

To kick off the foundation Joe has announced the first annual benefit concert for VetsAid on September 20th, at the Eagle Bank Arena in Fairfax VA featuring Joe Walsh and Friends. Let me tell you Joe has a lot of pretty awesome friends! Joining him on stage for the inaugural show will be Zac Brown Band, Gary Clark Jr., and Keith Urban! Tickets for the show are on sale and available right now and you can get yours by clicking HERE.

As I stated earlier I got to speak with Joe about his new foundation and learned how his goal is to help support the local veterans organizations in towns across America much like the Veterans Miracle Center here in the Capital Region (who by the way you can help support with Q103 at the Capital Misfits Ride coming up in August). You can listen to my full interview with Joe Walsh bellow and learn more about VetsAid!
