The world lost a true star when Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek succumbed to bile duct cancer on May 20. The band is celebrating his legacy with a fundraising effort designed to help others suffering from the disease.

The Ray Manzarek Memorial Tee, currently available for $25 on the band's website, comes emblazoned with the keyboardist's photo and the words "Ray Manzarek 1939-2013" on the front, both positioned beneath the band's logo. According to the site, at least 50 percent of the proceeds from each sale will go to Stand Up to Cancer, a charity dedicated to funding "collaborative, translational cancer research to bring treatments from the bench to the bedside faster, and save lives now."

Founded in 2008, Stand Up to Cancer has raised more than $160 million over the past five years, promising "this is where the end of cancer begins" and focusing on a variety of fundraising efforts, many of which involve celebrity ambassadors who have filmed PSAs or appeared on all-star recording projects. The Manzarek T-shirt, scheduled to start shipping this week, is available while supplies last.
