The next time you see The Devil Wears Prada, there will be a new face behind the kit. That's because the band has parted ways with drummer Daniel Williams. In a brief statement on the matter, the group revealed that they wished Williams the best in whatever he does moving forward and that they were in the process of putting the finishing touches on a new album. However, they did not reveal who will be playing drums for them when they return to the road later this month.

Their statement reads as follows: "With respect, we would like to let our fans know that Daniel is no longer in The Devil Wears Prada. We wish him nothing but the best with everything he does going forward. We're putting the finishing touches on our new album and look forward to releasing new music very soon. Much love, TDWP."

Williams also offered commentary on his exit via a series of tweets. He too was vague in the reasons for his exit, instead focusing on the good times and shows and encouraging fans to remain in touch. His tweets can be read below.

Williams has been with the band since their 2006 debut album, Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord. It is not known how much of a role the drummer will have in the band's forthcoming release.

As for who's manning the kit, we'll find out soon. The band is set to take the stage at the Chicago Open Air festival on July 15, with a handful of shows keeping them on tour through the end of July. Dates can be seen here.
