It may still be a while before we get a new The Devil Wears Prada album, but that isn't keeping the band from road testing at least one new song. The new track 'Gloom' has been part of the sets during recent shows, and fan-filmed footage of the track has surfaced online.

The track is targeted for the group's still untitled follow-up to the 'Dead Throne' album. The band spent time writing most of the forthcoming disc in January and early February, and will enter the studio to record the album following their current co-headlining trek with As I Lay Dying.

Just prior to heading out on the road, the band revealed that they had signed a new record deal with Roadrunner Records. They also announced that 'Dead Throne' producer Adam Dutkiewicz would return to the fold, but this time as executive producer while Matt Goldman would handle most of the day-to-day production duties.

Speaking with Loudwire about the direction of the disc earlier this year, frontman Mike Hranica revealed, "Conceptually, the concepts of ‘Dead Throne’ didn’t carry over. I feel like that would be repetitive and monotonous to keep going at the same subject matter, but obviously it all comes from the same place and I can say that nothing got more happy or uplifting really. So I think it’s very much the Devil Wears Prada but also it’s got a bit of freshness and originality to it and I think that even musically we started approaching the songs differently."
