It's always fun when your watching a movie and the characters break into a random dance scene, choreographed or not. There is just something about people who you don't expect to dance that just really makes something memorable. So how often does this happen? A lot, and it's awesome every single time. So lets take a look at some of the best random dance scenes in movies that have absolutely nothing to do with dancing.

Super Bad - Opening Credits

Michael Cera and Jonah Hill kill it in this opening scene from one of my favorite movies. I think what makes it so good is the retro feel of it and the goofyness that Hill and Cera portray in it. Great scene.

40 Year Old Virgin - Age of Aquarius

At the end of "The 40 Year Old Virgin" the last thing you expect is a full on performance of 'The Age of Aquarius' from the musical "Hair", but that is exactly what you get. Totally out of left field, al so well done.

Clerks 2 - Jackson 5 Dance Lesson

So Rosario Dawson decides to teach Dante to dance, and it triggers a full one community choreographed scene featuring the whole cast. It is my favorite random dance scene of all time. Thank you Kevin Smith.

So those, in my opinion are the 5 best random dance scenes in movies that have nothing to do with dancing. I would be doing a disservice to my childhood though if I didn't give an honorable mention to Pee Wee Herman's infamous dance scene from "Pee Wees Big Adventure". Tequila!
