The Christmas song 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' are the 12 gifts you are supposed to give to your true love.  For the first time ever be  prepared to pay over $100,000  for all items throughout all the verses or 364 items including 42 swans-a-swimming and 42 geese-a -laying.   Last year the total cost was $97,000 so this year increases by 4.4%According to PNC Wealth Management, you can blame it on the partridge in a pear tree and the turtle doves for driving up the prices as both items had double digit increases.   The song includes many old school items, many of them are winged animals and artistic services.   Paying a skilled musician isn't so bad but the real issue are the swans.  Seven swans will total 6,300 making them the most expensive item in the song.  Five gold rings did decline a bit from $650 to $645.

If you don't have the room for 364 items you can always just buy one verse of the whole song and it will cost you $24,263.

If you think you can get a better deal by shopping for all these items on line, forget about it as shipping exotic birds is quite expensive.  The total cost for buying all the items thru the internet will set you back $174,000!!
