Last week it was a huge shock to the music world when former Warrant singer Jani Lane was found dead in his hotel room.  An episode of VH1 Classic's That Metal Show featuring the late singer was scheduled for later this year, but it's air date will now be moved up.

Ultimate Classic Rock is reporting that an already taped episode of That Metal Show featuring the late Jani Lane, will move it's air date up.  It was originally scheduled to air on October 21st, but due to his sudden death the episode will air on August 27th.

Co Hosts of the show Don Jamieson and Jim Florentine both made comments on the singers untimely death. Florentine said that he seemed to be in good spirits during the taping of the show.

I found him bright, interesting and extremely likeable. An easy guy to root for. He seemed like he had turned the corner on his personal problems, so I’m really bummed to hear of his passing

Don't forget to catch the premiere of That Metal Show on August 20th featuring Black Sabbath guitarist Toni Iommi.  Other guests you can expect on this season; Lars Ulrich, Scott Ian, Vinnie Moore, Sammy Hagar, Corey Taylor and Tom Morello.
