This one's gonna be tough to solve.

Thirty years ago, The Austin State Hospital didn't have room for all it's 200 brains. So they "temporarily" moved them to the University of Texas at Austin, according to the Times Union. As it turns out, they weren't in very much demand. When the curators went recently to check up on the brains, the half of the collection stored in the basement was missing.

Well, there's your problem. Never store important stuff in the basement. The school thinks undergraduates may have swiped the brains for pranks and/or conversational pieces. The real issue is no one seemed to check on these brains in all the time they were kept in the basement of the school. These brains could have been stolen a week ago or a week after they arrived.

Lucky for us, I have solved part of this crime. The brains were stolen no later than November 2, 2003. The below conversation has all the proof you need.
