Children of the 80's and 90's get ready for a flashback.  The lean green fighting machines known as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are getting ready for a big screen reboot.

When I was a kid, I lived and died for the Ninja Turtles.  These four 'heroes in a half shell' took the world by storm.  Movies, televison shows, video games and millions of toys, they were the hottest thing going.  To this day they are still popular among kids, and now they are going to be hitting the big screen once again.

There have been rumors of a live action reboot to the Turtles franchise for a few years now, but yesterday the world got word that director Jonathan Liebesman as been brought on board for the project.  His credits include Battle: Los Angeles, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning and the upcoming movie Wrath of the Titans.   He is no stranger to action, and a dark side of it, so we can't help but wonder if this reboot will be more for us adults who are feeling nostalgic, rather than for the kids.

The first Turtles movie was a little on the dark side, and to this day is still one of my favorite movies. Lets hope they follow suit for the upcoming one.
