Hockey has a lot of traditions. When I player scores 3 goals in a game fans toss their hats onto the ice to show their appreciation. When the Detroit red wings score in the play offs the fans throw a squid onto the ice. If you’re a classless fan and you completely disapprove of an Official’s call then you throw trash out onto the ice. But in Canada the CHL team, the Calgary Hitmen has a different tradition.

Once a year the Hitmen fans throw teddy bears onto the ice after their home team scores a goal. Later the Teddy bears would be donated to the children’s hospital.

Check out the video. It’s a pretty cool site to see, and much cleaner then squid.
