Ted Williams Goes From Homeless to Rehab

It was just a week ago that we were all sharing links to a viral video of a man with the gift of a great voice. That man - Ted Williams - had a huge change in his life and suddenly was on every show from Today to Dr Phil. The last appearance is what has motivated him to seek rehab treatment.

Dr. Phil is always trying to help where he can and in this case Ted Williams was someone who needed it. Like most of the homeless population he ended up on the streets because of addiction. Now that he’s receiving some income, he knows it’s time to also get some help so that he can keep everything on track.

In a statement given on his website, Dr. Phil says:

"If Ted is ever going to get better, he's got to be honest with himself and admit he's addicted to drugs and alcohol. I've told him it's not going to be easy and it's going to take a lot of hard work. It might be a long journey for him, but this is a step in the right direction,"

All we can really do is wish him luck. I’m wondering when he will get a book deal  as his life story may actually be a captivating read.
