After two years of entertaining the late night crowd, TBS announced that they would not be renewing Lopez Tonight for a 3rd season.

George Lopez's run as a late night talk show host has come to an end. On Wednesday TBS made the official announcement that Lopez Tonight would be getting the axe.  It's no big shock.  Ever since the network moved Conan into Lopez's time slot he has lost viewers so it was only a matter of time.

When the show popped up in 2009 no one gave it a shot, but Lopez pulled some decent ratings and had a large audience following him.  Conan O'Brien came in last year and it knocked Lopez down, but now both shows are pulling in low ratings and Fox News is reporting that Conan could be the next to go.

Conan pulled in over 2 million viewers for his debut on TBS and averaged a million per episode last season, but the luster has worn off and now his audience is also going elsewhere.  The future of Conan remains to be seen.
