We have seen some pretty awesome mugshots from the local police departments thus far in 2012. We have had some entertaining jailhouse hotties. There was the trifecta crown jewel of them all (the cat hoarding was a bonus) but this one is right up there too. This gentleman was arrested in Albany (NY) after robbing someone of their cellphone in Washington Park.

Missing anything out of your car lately?  If you keep your ride in Washington Park, there is a good chance you are.  Three young kids were busted with stolen property, property taken from cars sitting in the park.

Saturday was a picture perfect day for the 64th annual Albany Tulip Festival at Washington Park. Emily Finnegan, a University at Albany student was all smiles as she was selected to be the 2012 Tulip Queen.

Tulip Fest 2011 is just a week and a half away, and City officials are looking for volunteers to staff various parts of the event, according to the Times Union. The Fest takes place May 7 and 8 (Mother's Day weekend) at Washington Park, so if you're available to help out, read on!

The city of Albany and Mayor Jerry Jennings present the 63rd annual Tulip Fest, which is set in Albany's Washington Park, is just around the corner! It will take place May 7-8, and will feature a trio of bands, along with blossoms of tulips everywhere.
