Sick Puppies Announce 2013 Summer Tour Dates

Aussie group Sick Puppies have been laying dormant "down under" for some time now in order to focus on writing and recording a brand new album and they have done just that. 'Connect' arrives July 16 via Virgin Records and will be the band's fourth studio album and first in four years since 2009's 'Tri-Polar.' As always, with new music comes a new tour, so read on for all the dates of their summer North American trek.

It has been one week since Cali rock group Queens of the Stone Age released their sixth studio album '...Like Clockwork,' which estimated to sell between 80 and 85,000 units nationwide. With a new album comes a new tour and the quintet just revealed the North American dates, which kick off August 2 in Chicago, Illinois and conclude October 13 in Mexico City, Mexico. A 30-second trailer for this year's Gigantour has just been released. The popular festival was founded by Megadeth's Dave Mustaine in 2005, and has since grown in popularity and status. Following the news last week of several new shows added, things seem to have gone south for Van Halen since then. Without much explanation, the legendary rock band just announced that they’ll be postponing all remaining tour dates after their June 26 show in New Orleans, La. With over 30 dates being postponed, the dates impacted start on July 7 in Uncasville, Conn. and span through a Sept. 25 gig in Milwaukee.
