Albany’s own Magnetic Eye Records, a label featuring rock, metal, and post-metal bands, is currently working on a metal tribute project to Pink Floyd’s “The Wall" entitled "The Wall ."  I not only have found this a fascinating project due to my intrigue over the undertaking of turning Pink Floyd’s sound into a metal sound, but also as it is just in time to get us rock fans all excit

So this cake showed up at the Q studios this morning with some pretty big news a  top of it ...

Tonight a giant white wall will be erected inside the Times Union Center as Roger Waters brings his The Wall Live show to downtown Albany.    Show begins promptly at 8pm, there is no opening act.  Be aware, parking could be difficult as there are travel advisories for Alive@5, and road construction on I-787.  What can we expect to see tonight at the show?

Roger Waters from Pink Floyd is bringing The Wall Live to Times Union Center, June 28th. He launched the tour this past week in Houston and will play 40 cities before wrapping up July 14th. Pink Floyd only has performed 'The Wall' only 29 times in the past. It will be a once in a lifetime opportunity this summer in Albany. Watch some video footage from opening night now.

All you Pink Floyd fans out there are in for a treat this summer.  Roger Waters will be in Albany and performing The Wall in it's entirety.  It will for sure be a great show.
