August 15, 2012 I was flipping through the channels the other day when I noticed one classic show from my childhood, Figure It Out was on, only it was awful because it was all modern and advanced with a male version of Summer Sanders. It makes me sick when classic shows are re-made because they will never be the same or nearly as good. It got me thinking of all the awesome shows I grew up with, most of which were on Nickelodeon. Albany Public Access Channel Debuts
Mayor Jennings and the City of Albany announced yesterday that there is a new TV channel for city residents. This TV channel may not have a big fancy studio or major network technology, but it does have basic equipment to give the public an opportunity make your own discussion show, or experimental format. It's on Time Warner Cable public access 18 and is available to all subscribers on the basic tier service.
