Some big news yesterday regarding one of the number one seeds in the NCAA Men's division one basketball tournament. Syracuse starting center Fab Melo has been ruled ineligible.
The madness has begun, the brackets are ready to be filled out and the 68 teams have been selected. Syracuse, North Carolina, Kentucky along with Michigan State who actually won its conference tournament get the top seeds. Syracuse leads the way in the Big East as the conference has nine teams in the tournament. As with any selection Sunday there are teams that are left wondering what could have been or what was the selection committee thinking?
There's going to be a new attraction at this year's New York State Fair in Syracuse, and I can already hear America's arteries clogging even more!
Seriously, this is a big time match up. 18-0 Cuse vs. 17-1 Pitt. It doesn’t get much better than that in college hoops. With football almost over, and it really being so cold out that I just want to stay indoors, I’d like to try my luck at picking the winner in this one tonight.
