Steven Tyler announced today that he is leaving as judge of American Idol.
After Aerosmith and the Global Warming tour blew into Albany and rocked the Times Union Center on Friday night, doctors have ordered Steven Tyler to provide vocal rest. Aerosmith notified fans via facebook that they were postponing the show in Bristow Va tonight until August 12th. No word on whether any other dates will be postponed. The next scheduled date is Thursday in Detroit.
Aerosmith is bringing the Global Warming Tour to Albany with special guest Cheap Trick on June 29th. The tour is in support and will feature some new songs of their new album 'Music From Another Dimension' that will be released August 28th. Rumor has it that there is a duet on the album that features Steven Tyler and Carrie Underwood. Do you think that Carrie will walk out on the stage at Times Union Center to sing it?

Aerosmith front man and American Idol judge Steven Tyler got the last laugh on Tuesday nights American Idol when he re-enacts fellow judge Jennifer Lopez 'Nip Slip' from the Oscars. So was there a 'nip slip' or not, I think now we know!
