If you're going to be at our first ever Food Truck Festival happening this Saturday (5/4) in Troy, NY, we want you to Tweet, Instagram, Facebook, Foursquare, flickr, and more with us! Here's a complete guide for the fest including our hashtag for the day and the Twitter handles for a bunch of the trucks. We'll even have a fancy-dandy guide to save to your phone, or print out. We'll also have paper copies at the festival too, but you can save a tree and download it here.
Think you know everything there is to know about Facebook? There's more to the social media empire than meets the eye, literally. Want to know why Facebook is blue? Curious to know what the divorce rate is because of Facebook? Want to know what facebook.com sold for back in 2005? No worries, I'm on it for you!
Here's something that shouldn't come as a shock to you - According to a new study, Facebook users are prone to anxiety and alcohol abuse (you don't say?).
Want more Twitter followers? Researchers actually sat down to figure out what it takes (How sad is that?)
I've said it over a thousand times - Watch what you post on social media!
Amy McClenathan posted on sentence on Facebook and it changed her life forever.
When you meet someone new or finally get a date with the person you've been after, have you ever had the urge to "Stalk" them on social media? Facebook may have changed the way we communicate, keep up with long lost friends and pretend that we're doing actual work in the office, but it has come at a great cost to privacy. Now the federal government is forcing the social networking giant to ask all 800 million of their users if they wish to “opt out” of certain settings and features that might expose some of their personal information to the entire world.
We applaud these efforts to ensure our privacy, and we think it should be taken even further. Facebook should not only make sure that our most sensitive information isn't exposed to the general public, but they should also ask us if we want to “opt out” of the most annoying causes of social networking headaches that have spread like some virtual flesh eating bacteria that cannot be stopped.
