The New York State Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) was created in 1980 to oversee the facilities associated with the Olympics. They continue to make sure the facilities are purposefully reimagined to keep the communities and mountains enticing. Now they are involved in making a new ride at Gore mountain, the largest in the state.

As the winter drags on, it’s important to look on the bright side. The longer it stays cold in Albany, the longer you have to check out one of the many mountains close by for skiing and snowboarding.
