Oh man, I love this guy. Whenever he comes by he’s always as happy as can be and ready to rock. Even when he just has his acoustic, this guy brings it every time.

I was screwing around on YouTube when I found some great live footage from Q-Ruption this past Friday at SPAC.  If you weren't there then you can enjoy some great video shot by the awesome Q103 listeners!

The only rock festival in the Albany area was a huge success - thanks to everyone who came out to see Q-Ruption at SPAC on Friday night. After the jump check out the galleries of performers Selfish Needy Creatures, Egypt Central, Sick Puppies, Skillet, Five Finger Death Punch, and Godsmack.

So last night I had an absolute blast at Q-Ruption!  There were so many great moments both on and off the stage, but one moment sticks out in my mind as the favorite of the night.

As one of you 12,138 fans that rocked out at Q-Ruption last night, it was hard to pick a favorite act.  One band I was anticipating to see in person delivered in a big way last night.  For me, it was Skillet that got ol' Monte tapping his foot.

Before the artists took the stage to tear it up at Q-Ruption they made a pit stop to our backstage Q103 studio at SPACto sit down and chat with Mrozek and hang out a little before the big show.  After the jump check out some great interviews from Skillet, The Sick Puppies and Sully Erna of Godsmack!

Be ready for a Q-Ruption! The summer's only rock festival is Friday August 19th at SPAC starring Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch, Skillet, Sick Puppies, Egypt Central plus local band Play for the Stage winner: Selfish Needy Creatures. The parking lot opens at 4pm, gates are at 5pm. What time does your favorite band hit the stage? We have the set times.

With Q-Ruption less than a week away, ol' Monte can't wait to see the girls of Skillet on stage. You have heard Skillet's tunes here on the Q , but have you seen guitarist Korey Cooper and drummer Jen Ledger rock out?  Not only talented, these ladies are easy on the eyes!

We are just about a week away from Q103's Q-Ruption and I am getting pumped for all the bands.  So why not get a taste of what is to come by checking out some of their live performances from the past?

Transformers 3, one of the big blockbuster films of this summer has a song from Q103 Q-Ruption performer, Skillet on the soundtrack.  Lead singer John Cooper was interviewed recently by Mlive.com about writing for the soundtrack among other things.
