3 days ago Shim Moore, lead singer of Sick Puppies was a busy man at Rock on the Range after their set. He was seen running all over, just about every inch of the media tent and then some talking with press. I was able to grab Shim for a few minutes to talk the new album, the differences in living in the United States vs. Australia, and even the most generic questions he gets commonly asked.
Sick Puppies are inching closer to their return and bassist Emma Anzai has checked in with an update on their album progress. Anzai reveals that the group has been extremely productive coming up with new material and they're in the process of narrowing down that tracks that will make the final disc.

Another big rock show is making it's way to the Capital Region this fall. Q103 presents the Triple Threat Tour starring Seether, Sick Puppies and Kyng to Upstate Concert Hall on September 18th. Also on the bill are up and coming band Young Guns.

So last night I had an absolute blast at Q-Ruption! There were so many great moments both on and off the stage, but one moment sticks out in my mind as the favorite of the night.
