As a person who is doing media coverage of Rock on the Range, you're days are filled with things to do including interviews, checking out bands, trying to find something to eat, and even checking a band or two. Seether took the stage for a sold out show on May 8 at Upstate Concert Hall and one lucky Rock-A-Holic got the chance to see them front and center.

Rocking for a cause is something Seether know a lot about. Their Rise Above Fest was born in 2012 and made its triumphant return to New England again this year on May 10 at the Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor, Maine. The festival, the brainchild of Seether frontman Shaun Morgan, aims to raise funding and more importantly, awareness about suicide-- something that Morgan has a deeply persona

Seether recently announced that the band's sixth studio album, 'Isolate and Medicate,' will arrive on July 1. And shortly after making the announcement, frontman Shaun Morgan, bassist Dale Stewart and drummer John Humphrey spoke with 'Loudwire Nights' host Full Metal Jackie about the new disc. Seether has been teasing their fans about a major announcement that was to come on May 1. Well that day has come and the band's announcement packs a punch with a new single and album.

Seether is gearing up for the release of the their latest album which is due out later this summer. The band will be releasing the first single from that album called 'Words As Weapons' on May 1 and we're giving you a sampling of the new tune.

Seether are working on a new album, but in the interim the band has a new hit on their hands. 'Weak' is featured on the band's hits collection, 'Seether 2002-2013,' that arrived late last year and now there's some visuals to go along with the track.

Seether are hitting the home stretch in recording their next album. The band, who ended 2013 by releasing a career-spanning hits collection, have been hard at work on a new record while their compilation keeps them in the minds of fans.

After revealing the lineup for this year's Rise Above Fest last week, Seether have unveiled more tour dates. Their Spring North American tour launches April 18 in Huntington, N.Y. Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 7 at this location.

Seether frontman Shaun Morgan is the latest rocker to pay tribute to Nelson Mandela. A huge amount of musicians and other public figures have memorialized Mandela since he passed away on Dec. 5, but as a native South African, Morgan's statement is unique as he witnessed firsthand what it was like in his home country when Mandela was released from prison after 27 years.

It's seems like yesterday, but a decade has come and gone since Seether first appeared on our musical radar with 'Fine Again.' The band has just unleashed its two-disc hits collection, 'Seether 2002-2013,' and Loudwire and Noisecreep are happy to bring you the entire stream of the set.
