Seether Hit Career Milestone With New Album
South-African trio Seether released their sixth studio album (the first album was released as former name Saron Gas) Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray almost a year ago, and since then it has been the most successful year for the band since their establishment in 1999. Now, they are at an all-time high, as the third single off the album, "No Resolution" has topped the charts at the no. 1 spot. This is the third consecutive hit in a row off the new album, making it a first for the band.

Seether’s Shaun Morgan on Departed Guitarist: Maybe Amy Lee ‘Needed Him More Than I Did’
Seether had an interesting year in 2011 with the departure of their guitarist Troy McLawhorn, who returned to Evanescence. Nonetheless, the band has had much success with their latest album ‘Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray.’ In our interview with frontman Shaun Morgan, he revealed that the band is perfectly fine as a three piece and that they have no desire to add another guitarist to the group just yet.
Seether Set to Release ‘Remix EP’ Featuring Contest-Winning Track
Seether have announced plans to release ‘Remix EP,’ a six-track collection featuring fan-created remixes of ‘Tonight’ and other tunes from their 2011 release, ‘Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray.’ The EP will be issued in digital formats only on Feb. 7 through iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and other music outlets.

Seether Plans to Play 300 Shows in 2012
It wasnt that long ago that Seether performed at Northern Lights in 2011. That show in May was one of approximately 150 shows to support their new album 'Holding Onto Strings Better Left To Fray'. Seether frontman Shaun Morgan said next year the band hopes to play over 300 shows.
