The New York Racing Association plans to continue it's tradition of giveaways this summer at the Saratoga Race Course. There will be four Sundays throughout the meet where fans can get some really cool giveaways with a paid admission while supplies last. About a month ago, downtown Saratoga was turned into a giant party as hundreds of residents participated in a lip dub. The idea was thought up by Saratoga Chamber of Commerce President Todd Shimkus. The Lip Dub is a medley of songs by the band Train - whose drummer Scott Underwood is from Saratoga Springs. Watch it now!
The Free Beer & Hot Wings show was in town this past weekend and along with doing a live broadcast from the track in Saratoga, they also had Producer Joe do a stunt. They had a little trouble coming up with a stunt idea , so just screwing around with ideas at dinner on Thursday night I shot out the idea of Joe putting horse food in his shirt and having a horse eat out of it. The look at the table when the words came out of my mouth were that of amazement. The rest is history.
