Free Beer is again calling football games for Compass Media Networks this season. This past weekend, he was at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Ind., calling the Michigan State-Indiana game. Eighth-ranked Michigan State won 56-17 in a total second-half blowout.

The co-hosts of the "Doug & Wolf Show," a sports talk show that airs on Phoenix-based 98.7 KTAR, nearly came to blows Thursday while on the air.

A guy who was working the graveyard shift at a Baltimore area 7-Eleven called into a late-night sports talk radio show to apparently rap about the Baltimore Orioles. Midway through his sweet jam, the clerk named Will abruptly stopped and hung up the phone. Why? Because he was being robbed!
