Being in radio, I’ve been given many cd’s throughout the years. And often times I get people that shoot me an email telling me I have to check out this band of young kids. Or they come up to me and tell me how great their kid, nephew or whatever is
Nikki, Heather, and Jen from the Q-tease sit down for a chat.
Northern Lights was packed almost to capacity last night as bands Pop Evil, Escape the Fate and headliners Papa Roach took over the stage and put on an awesome performance. The day included a BBQ with Papa Roach, an interview with Escape the Fate and a blast with Pop Evil. All three bands put on a great show, leaving the crowd with ringing, but nonetheless happy ears and smiling faces. I know I did at least.
I don't think there will be another Bar B Q this summer that will top our Bar B Q with Papa Roach.
When ever Papa Roach comes to town you know its going to get a little crazy.
Alter Bridge performed Thursday May 18th at Northern Lights in Clifton Park, with Like a Storm and Black Stone Cherry. It was loud, raw and the show rocked. Q103 had a direct line to the sound board and have the Alter Bridge concert audio so you can relive the show as it was performed.
Escape The Fate is on the bill for the Papa Roach show tomorrow night at Northern Lights. Drummer Robert Ortiz calls in to chat with Mrozek about influences and what it's like being in a band that comes from Las Vegas.
Last night, Bulletproof Messenger, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and ultra-popular headliners Seether put on a great show at Northern Lights in Clifton Park. It was packed, but not sold out, and the crowd was surprisingly tame. I'm used to insanely brutal metal crowds, so it was nice to see a group of people who don't want to kill each other. All three bands did a fantastic job, and even though I wasn't originally supposed to work it, I'm so glad I was there!
Bulletproof Messenger, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Seether rocked Northern Lights.
Before Seether took the stage at Northern Lights, we got to announce another rock show coming to the Capital Region. Puddle of Mudd with Rev Theory are set to perform at Northern Lights on July 24th. Special low dough $15 tickets go on sale Friday May 27th.
