Adrenaline Mob drummer Mike Portnoy is stepping up to help one of his dearest friends in a time of need and he's got a number of his rock and roll peers to help out as well. The 'Mike Portnoy Celebrity Cymbal Fundraising Raffle' will raise funds for Portnoy's friend, who had his life changed forever when a fall left him paralyzed from the chest down.
January 5, 2012 Newest heavy metal super group Adrenaline Mob have just announced that they will be releasing their debut album, Omerta on March 13. The album will be the follow-up to the band's self-titled EP which was released in the summer of 2011.
In an interview with Nikki Blakk of California radio station 107.7 The Bone, Avenged Sevenfold guitarist Zacky Vengeance talked about unwillingly being caught up in some of the drama between their former touring sticksman Mike Portnoy and his former band Dream Theater.
Mike Portnoy was on this weekends episode of That Metal Show on VH1 Classic. While he on they of course had to bring up the subject of his former band Dream Theater and what it's like to see them go on without him.
