Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett is looking to scare up some extra business for his new book, 'Too Much Horror Business,' and will hit the road for a series of book signings next month.
As Metallica continue their series of eight concerts in Mexico City, each show seems to outdo the one before with rarely played songs introduced into the set list and flaming pranks being played on the crowd. For fans that couldn’t make it to Mexico though, Metallica recently posted a behind-the-scenes video that gives a small taste of the experience.
Although the news broke yesterday that Metallica were to set to begin work in earnest on a new album in September, drummer Lars Ulrich doesn’t want fans to get too anxious about the upcoming release. The Metallica percussionist is “realistically” expecting the band’s 10th album to hit stores in early 2014.

Metallica‘s always evolving and highly anticipated Orion Music + More Festival will now be available to those who can’t make the trip to New Jersey. Select performances from the Atlantic City music fest, including Metallica’s Saturday and Sunday sets, will now be brought to fans via Fuse TV’s YouTube page.
As Metallica have continued to announce additional attractions to their Orion Music + More Festival, the two-day event has become increasingly personal for the band. Although many will attend the festivities for the music, they’ll also be able to check out James Hetfield‘s car show, Kirk Hammett‘s horror museum, and now, Lars Ulrich‘s mini film festival.
Many metal fans will remember the tragic story of 20-year-old Morgan Harrington. Back in 2009 the Virginia Tech student disappeared after hitchhiking home from a Metallica concert on the college campus. Three grueling months later, her remains were found in a field just 10 miles from the venue.
