There's been a mysterious and exciting vibe revolving around the new project launched by Soulfly's Max Cavalera, the Dillinger Escape Plan's Greg Puciato, Mastodon's Troy Sanders and former Mars Volta drummer Dave Elitch. The new band has been dubbed Killer Be Killed, and the group have finally released some juicy details on their 2014 debut album.

Mastodon's last studio album was 'The Hunter,' released in 2011. Now it looks like a new album will be on the way sometime next year.

Southern headbangers, Mastodon, have released a brand new music video for their single 'Dry Bone Valley' off the The Hunter.  They take you on what can only be described as a heavy metal acid trip in this video.  If you're prone to seizures, you may want to stay away.  It was directed by Tim Biskup, and all kidding aside it's a cool video with a retro feel.
