Mark Tremonti has embarked on a tour in support of his new solo disc ‘All I Was,’ which was released on July 10. However, bassist Brian Marshall, who plays with Tremonti in Creed and Alter Bridge, has been forced to drop off the trek.

Creed and Alter Bridge guitarist Mark Tremonti recently branched out on his own releasing his first solo disc ‘All I Was’ on July 17. In addition to playing guitar, Tremonti also covers vocal duties on the disc, showing off his full arsenal of musical weapons.

It seems that solo albums are becoming more and more of a norm these days- members from bands are venturing out and exploring a different side of their musical talents and producing a solo work as the result. The newest member of the club is Alter Bridge/Creed guitarist and songwriter Mark Tremonti, who is releasing his first solo album this summer.

Creed recently kicked off their tour celebrating the 15th anniversary of their debut disc ‘My Own Prison,’ but guitarist Mark Tremonti is gearing up for a milestone of his own later this summer. On July 12 Tremonti will release his debut solo disc titled ‘All I Was.’

Creed is going on tour with an Album based show in strictly small intimate theaters.

The first time most of us heard about Mark Tremonti, he was heading up post-grunge behemoths Creed, touring the country and playing bread-and-butter rock hits such as ‘My Own Prison,’ ‘Torn’ and ‘What’s This Life For?’ That was in the late-‘90s and early-‘00s, and Creed have since gone on to become multiplatinum rock sensations.

It’s hard to believe, but the boys of Creed celebrate the 15th anniversary of their multiplatinum debut album, ‘My Own Prison,’ this year. Of course, a milestone like that can’t go by without some kind of celebration, and in that spirit, the guys — singer Scott Stapp, guitarist Mark Tremonti, bass player Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips — are setting out on a North American tour this Apri

Creed has been working on their 5th studio album since October. If you have a need for Creed, throughout the whole process the band has been giving fans video glimpse's of the writing, mixing and recording sessions.  So far there are five video's, watch them now.

Alter Bridge performed Thursday May 18th at Northern Lights in Clifton Park, with Like a Storm and Black Stone Cherry. It was loud, raw and the show rocked.  Q103 had a direct line to the sound board and have the Alter Bridge concert audio so you can relive the show as it was performed.
