Scammers come at us in a variety of ways. They sometimes take our identity and try to get us to send them money claiming to be the police or collections, but this latest scam is terrifying. Fortunately, no one was hurt but for an Upstate NY woman, she thought a family member was kidnapped.
Nicole K. Elmore is facing additional charges for her alleged involvement in a kidnapping, assault, and torture case that spanned Fulton and Montgomery counties.
Class clowns are finding ways to adapt during this time of online school, and the latest trend has been staging kidnappings while in class on Zoom.

In certain parts of Detroit, it's a relatively easy task to get yourself kidnapped, pistol-whipped, or blasted in in the nuts with a stun gun. If it doesn't happen on it it's own though, you can always pay for it.
