Watch the Roots, Kid Rock and Travie McCoy Perform Beastie Boys Medley at Rock Hall Induction
They can’t, they don’t and they won’t stop — and then they did stop.
Nobody can fill the extra-large Adidas sneakers favored by the Beastie Boys, but the Roots, Kid Rock and Travie McCoy of the Gym Class Heroes nobly did their best last month when the B-Boys were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. Adam “MCA” Yauch called in sick at the 11th hour — Yauch’s mom later revealed he was admitted into the hospital that very night as he continued to battle cancer, a battle that sadly ended Friday (May 4) when Yauch passed away at the age of 47.
Kid Rock Focuses on Giving His All During Upcoming Club Tour
Having fun both offstage and with his music still matters to Kid Rock. But as he gets older, Rock gives much more thought to when it’s best to act like his younger self.
Thanks in part to his scaled-back partying, Rock says he’s been more consistent singing and playing on tour — and that should be a plus for fans who will be attending his fall club dates.

Hear The Black Keys Covering Buddy Holly

This past weekend, the multi-genre singer Kid Rockdonated $100,000 to a number of credible organizations. He also donated $50,000 to the American Red Crossto help tornado victims in the south. He doesn't seem like one to be a big donator, but his money will greatly help those affected.

Best Rock Cover Songs [VIDEOS]
It's always a pretty ballsy move when an artist tries to tackle a song by a fellow musician. It's even better when they do it so well they knock it out of the park.

Kid Rock On People’s Choice Awards
Kid Rock is a man who gets it! This guy knows how to please the masses. I do find this new song “God Bless Saturday” funny though. How can a guy who hasn’t had to deal with the grind of a regular work week for probably 20 years or so, pull off singing about it? This is part of why he gets it. He’s still relating to almost anyone that hears his lyrics. Throw a bluesy rock/country riff behind it and voila, you’ve got another hit!
