Rock bands covering songs by other acts is not really out of the ordinary, but something that doesn't happen everyday is a pair of rock bands teaming up on a cover. That was the case recently for hard rocking outfits Hurt and Smile Empty Soul, who found themselves spending a November day in Michigan covering the Alice in Chains classic 'No Excuses.'
The band Hurt came to Albany for a free show on the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend. Savannah's was crowded as Hurt came on stage and helped Q103 kick off the summer of 2012. Did you get a picture with the Q103 Q-Tease? Check out the photos of the show, others hanging out with listeners.
The boys from Hurt (J and Michael) stop by the Q103 studios for a little interview-ski and play us some tunes. Check out their performance and J’s Johnny Cash impression.
Hurt will be preforming a FREE show tomorrow night. I'm excited for it, I love their new song How we end up alone. That's why tonight Hurt is my crush.
Local rocker artist Frank Palangi is making his way up the popularity ladder by supporting big acts such as Trapt, whom he opened up for last month. Now, he is getting ready for tomorrow's FREE show at Savannah's Dublin Underground, as he will be opening up for rock act Hurt. He will also be supporting Fuel on their tour next month as they make a stop in the capital district.
