The 2012, 54th annual Grammy awards concluded last night, and 78 golden phonographs were given out to some of the nation's biggest names in music of all genres. The night was complete with an arrangement of presenters, performers and awards, as well as tributes given to the late Whitney Houston. Read on to find out who won in the rock categories.

And the winner is… Foo Fighters for ‘White Limo!’ Foo Fighters have just beaten out Mastodon, Megadeth, Dream Theater and Sum 41 for the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock / Metal Performance as well as Best Rock Performance with 'Walk'.
