There has been an impressive amount of breaking news from FX's Upfront presentation in New York today, the biggest of which being that the cable network will spin off into a new channel FXX in September, but the hits keep on coming. Today FX President John Landgraf has confirmed that a 'Fargo' TV series based on the classic Coen brothers film has officially been greenlit, but will it recieve a full run or unfold as a "limited series"? Earlier in the year, we heard rumors that FX might look to spinoff its comedy properties into a separate network titled "FXX," to debut in September of this year. Now, as news pours out of the cable network's Upfront presentation, we've learned that FXX will indeed break off from FX and debut in 74 million homes this September, but will it be a comedy-central channel, or appeal to a broader demographic?
