It was back in 2001, The Foo Fighter were working on a new album.  Dave Grohl describes those sessions as the Million Dollar Demo's.  The band had spent a million dollars on putting together an album that was eventually scraped and attempted to start over again.  Two demos from those sessions have leaked online on YouTube.
